Who we are

Our website address is https://ceilingcurtaintrack.com.au. The website is operated by Curtain Track Company, a division of BuyFactory Direct Pty Ltd (ABN 30 656 628 938). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect and why

When you place an order or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, the products you order and any messages you send. We use this to take payment, deliver your order, send order and tracking emails, answer your questions, handle returns and keep the business records we are required to keep.

We also collect technical information, such as your browser type and pages visited, to run and protect the website. Analytics and advertising measurement only load if you accept them (see Cookies below).

Payment details

Card payments are entered directly with Stripe, and PayPal payments with PayPal. We do not see or store your full card number. Please never send card details by email, chat or our forms.

Who we share information with

We share only what is needed with the providers that help us run the store: payment providers, website hosting, order storage and fulfilment, email delivery, delivery companies, customer support, and the chat assistant on our website. Some of these providers, and parts of our business, are located outside Australia (including in Thailand and the United States). We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies and marketing

Your cart and delivery choice are saved in your browser so they stay in place between pages. Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement load only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. See our Cookie Policy.

If we send you marketing emails, we do so in line with the Spam Act 2003. Each email identifies us and includes a way to unsubscribe.

Embedded content from other websites

Some pages include content from other websites, such as videos and forms. That content behaves as if you visited the other website, which may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with it.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to confirm your identity first. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above and for our legal, tax and business record obligations.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No online service is completely risk-free, so please contact us straight away if you think your information has been misused.
